About Us

This is my new website. My old one is at http://pcisys.net/~glenn_butcher, and will remain there while I gradually move everything over here.

We call Colorado home for the past 18 years, excluding 2 years at Kwajalein Atoll in the Central Pacific. I work for Boeing monitoring subcontractors that do missile defense software development.

My wife Sherry is a former school board member, headhunter, consultant, teacher and a dozen other things. What she still is, is my best friend.

Matthew is our youngest child, 19 years old and a freshman at UNC, Greely, CO. Here's a picture of Matt and Sherry, at Sherry's graduation:

Shandra is our oldest, living less than a mile away with her husband Josh, their son Logan, and twin daughters Katelynn and Elizabeth. Grandfathering is a hoot!.

Eric is our middle 'un; he lives in Pueblo, CO. He had a really bad accident a couple of years ago, and suffered a massive brain injury. He's had a slow but steady recovery, and we're grateful for even just still having him living on this earth, not to mention the progress he's made getting better. Chin up, bub...

Me, I putter around with the computers, do a bit of reading, and aspire to build a model railroad layout in the Colorado basement. Gotta have goals, no? Don't need no more schoolin' did the management thing (have the T-shirt). Oh, we cook a bit for fun and, more fun, I guess. Originally from Louisiana, where the eatin's good. Lost the accent, but not the appetite.
